65 years old lady came with history of diabetes since 30 years.She had a diabetic ulcer on her right leg, tingling sensation on her lower limbs, and burning soles. She also was advised surgery for cataract , but couldn't do it, as her blood sugar levels were high. She had got diabetic ulcers in past too, which were surgically treated. We started her treatment,and saw the ulcer drying without any local application of ointment. It took a span of 2 months for the ulcer to heal completely. But this time the difference was, it hadn't left a scar behind as the previous ones on which plastic surgery was done. Her blood sugar levels were in range, and to our surprise, on going for her eye check up, the same doctor who had asked her for cataract surgery, now said we can wait- it doesn't need surgery now.

She is still under our care, her blood sugar levels are within normal range and neuropathies are also improving.
